I don't always draw pictures

I take lots of pictures too....This is the much maligned Starling, a striking bird with a stunning iridescent plumage and yellow dagger like beak. These noisy boisterous birds turn up in numbers at my bird table and proceed to encourage any other feathered diners to leave promptly by way of their dreadful table manners.
They are a common bird and as such are taken for granted. Certainly worth a second look next time you are out and about.
